Our Beliefs
Life Connections, Inc. bases its beliefs and practices upon the eternal, inerrant Word of God, found in the Bible.
The root of our human problems, personal or social or governmental, is found in sin, which the Bible says cuts us off from the source of all love, goodness, and eternal life: the God of the Bible, who calls Himself Jehovah (or Yahweh).
God Himself solved our sin problem, by sending the Son of God to earth to reveal what life can be like and to die on the Cross. His death replaced yours & our death we deserve for our sin, by His unjustified death for us. In return for believing He died for ours & your sin personally, He will give us His life, a life connected to God now and forever.
We have personally experienced the benefits of connecting to God, His Word, and to His people. We have deeper roots in ourselves. Our lives have purpose and direction. Relationships become sources of growth and healing. We are able to discern the helpful and the hurtful in the world around us, then to choose the helpful, life-affirming opportunities.
We invite you to let God solve your sin problem and embark on a lifelong voyage of growth, healing, and joy. Talk to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, personally right now. The fact that he died, but rose again to live forever makes this possible. Ask him to forgive your sin. Thank him. Tell him you want to experience the new life he gives and you will do whatever He tells you. (Most of what He wants to say is in the Bible, his word to you.) | |
Life flows through the human body: from cell to cell, from heart to toe, from thought to thought. Even so, social life envigorates the individual by connecting people who stimulate and encourage each other. This is the pattern the Creator built into the world we know.
He Himself is constantly sharing from Father to Son to Spirit to creatures. This God wants to connect with people and make them His family. So envigorating is this contact that Jesus says, "This is eternal life: to know and experience the Father and the one He sent, Jesus."
